Georges Clot started his career in 1972 in the laboratory of the House of Rémy Martin. Discovered by André Hériard Dubreuil, he became the third Cellar Master in 1990 after spending many years working alongside André Giraud. His more pragmatic approach to the production of LOUIS XIII complemented the intuitive flair of his predecessor. In particular, he computerized the inventory of the cellars, making it easier to select eaux-de-vie from the thousands of casks.
